In 2022, the #BTV City Council and @MiroBTV again asked the Legislature to put this measure into law, just as it is in Texas, Florida, and NY. Of course, it is impossible to know if this would have prevented last night's tragedy, but we can't afford to wonder any longer. (3/3)

Burlington continues to struggle with public safety challenges. We must do more to protect our community. It has been a decade since #BTV voters supported a charter change to ban guns from our bars, but the Legislature still has not taken action on the measure. (2/3)
