Here’s a new animation I worked on for 350org for the climate summit focused on ending our reliance on fossil fuels. On a super nerdy level it was really fun using Houdini’s new Kinefx. Being able to go from Points to Joints to Pops and back again made this a breeze. #houdini

What is happening with @MaxonVFX student licensing? Their new student licensing system requires you to now submit 1. Your Date of Birth 2. Your driver's license & or passport 3. Upload a video recording of yourself How was this not flagged as an insane ask?

@sketchbookinc I would check out the Freelance Isn't Free Act. I think knowing that they'd not only have to pay you but pay you & your legal fees (as defined through the act) might be enough annoyance to get them to pay . It's free to file

@benvoldman I've long been over Vimeo as a platform. It's just not a good user experience the majority of the time, but it's got that "prestige" association for our industry. Frankly I prefer YouTube's playback and user experience.

does anyone know why @vimeo is forcing an upgrade when just trying to "share" a video. I already have a paid account. Why does the share link ask me to upgrade?
