@falloutplays Might be because loot is concentrated to one source(the bodies) vs the whole map and its hundreds of loot able containers. We’re talking 1 thing with excellent loot against 100 things and 5 of those have excellent loot. It’s concentrated into one place

Incredibly curious, would like to hear your thoughts:
From my OWN personal experience playing Marathon - close to 400 hrs at this point - I feel that the vast majority of the time, the best loot that I manage to extract with almost always comes from the bodies of enemy players that me/my team kill (and not necessarily from the map itself)
Is this your experience as well, or is it different? Interested to hear perspectives outside of my own.

Pretty obvious but im not going to be making all that much destiny content for the next few months until the update hits
Going to be focused on warframe, magic the gathering, will try out marathon, and going to experiment with more variety

Our next Major Update, Destiny 2: Shadow and Order, is undergoing large revisions and will be delayed. This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more. Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April). In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels. It's exactly two weeks until Shadow and Order so yeah probably delay and/or roadmap time, right? Right?
I don't know how we can expect anything other than enormous game structure changes past simple delays if it took this long to get here.
