I am still aliv. However, I've been pretty sick with lots of infections. This week I had both legs amputated just above the knees. Oddly enough I feel better now. If you have any spare prayers for healing I'd appreciate them.

I'm alive. I'm still in the nursing home. The bad news is that I'll probably be here forever, a prospect that I try not to do dwell on. I'll try to get on more, but using a tablet after years of TweetDeck is awkward. Prayers, as always, are welcome.

I've now spent nine days in a nursing home with a terrible cable package (but decent WiFi) doing physical rehab to get stronger. I probably have at least another couple of weeks to go. Prayers and good wishes welcome.

An update, for anyone interested. I got a major infection that was turning into sepsis when I arrived at the ER a couple of weeks ago. A week of IV antibiotics, fluids, and iron (I tend towards anemia) and lots of tests got me healthy but weak.

@warm_fuzzies_fl I always check (I used TweetDeck, so I'm always popping over to check my #ForgedInFire and #ForgieFriends Columns) so tweet anyways. Delayed commentary and jokes are still funny.

Bad news, #ForgieFriends: I have closing shifts for the forge-seeable future, and I'll be missing many #ForgedinFire episodes. So I will DVR ' em & tweet /post-factum/. (For whatever good that will do.)
