Fuel Price Crisis Theatre of absurd Expert Mbadi No review until June Expert Wandayi/EPRA New review MOA No agreement,Strike still On Murkomen why Strike against Ruto and never against Uhuru? This is not a Ruto vs Uhuru issue! This is not a Kikuyu/Kalenjin issue This is Kenyan issue of Vital National importance that should not be tribalized or trivialized. This is a matter for urgent Policy intervention not Police intervention! As the United Alternative Government We have and continue calling for scraping of the failed opaque GtoG policy which is yet another failed Policy of this failed Regime just like the many other failed policies like SHA in the Health Sector and New higher education funding model in the Education Sector. #RejectFuelPrices
Citizen TV Kenya@citizentvkenya

CS Murkomen: When I was in the Senate in the last administration, I was a very serious critic of the way the oil prices were being handled by the government. You should give us credit that no life was lost; we never organized a protest. The leaders of the matatu industry at that point in time never protested against the government. You should ask yourselves why did they feel that it was okay to understand Uhuru Kenyatta, but when it is President Ruto, they should go to the streets? There must be a certain level of profiling that applies to William Ruto and not Uhuru Kenyatta

@KarungoThangwa Theres nothing like profiling Mt Kenya. In the protests all over, Mt Kenya is the hot spots. Are they more affected than the rest of Kenya? When Uhuru was president, was Mt Kenya getting better prices that they saw no issue protesting? Ngui.

A Plot to Profile the People of Mt. Kenya Has Been Hatched As we speak, some UDA MPs are now being lined up to hold press conferences castigating their own people. The script is becoming clearer by the day. Ruto, Murkomen and Sudi must come out clearly on the death of Wanjiku, “the tattoo lady.” The people of my region are generally tolerant when it comes to politics, which is why many people find the attack on Wanjiku suspicious and politically convenient. Just like the car that was torched in Githurai yesterday, many questions remain unanswered. Did you hear the driver speaking with what sounded like a Nigerian accent, claiming the car was burnt because demonstrators found a UDA scarf inside? That immediately introduced a political motive into the story. Now another incident has emerged: a truck belonging to MP Biego, a UDA MP, was reportedly torched during the protests in Naivasha, with claims that it was targeted because of his perceived political and regional association. Conveniently, every incident now seems tailored to push one narrative: that the attacks are politically and ethnically targeted. Kenyans are not blind. Many are beginning to ask whether some of these incidents are spontaneous or carefully curated to justify a bigger political script. Did you also hear the owner of the Githurai car say the insurance company would not compensate her because the vehicle was not insured against demonstrations? Another cue for Ruto to donate a new car and appear for a photo session. Many people believe there is a deliberate attempt to portray the people of Mt. Kenya as violent, yet that is not who they are. Others also fear this could be part of a broader political scheme against RiggyG, aimed at thwarting his return from the UK. The people of Mt. Kenya will not be intimidated, profiled, or politically provoked into fear.

It has now been four years since they told Kenyans they would teach Uhuru how a country is governed. So why is it that every time things stop working, they still find themselves dragging his name into every discussion? Yesterday, Murkomen questioned why matatu owners did not go on strike over fuel prices during Uhuru’s tenure. A whole CS reducing legitimate economic concerns into ethnic politics. But how does ethnic profiling of the former president answer the real questions Kenyans are asking today? Uhuru left the price of diesel at 140 bob. It’s now 242 bob. With all due respect, nimatútigithie!

Crystal Palace I know you have the conference league final next week, but you have the chance to do something greater than winning any European football. If the players can pull off at least a draw they’ll be immortalised and idolised by millions of football fans which is greater than any trophy.

@edwinsifuna Mr Sifuna, you, like many of your politically expedient colleagues will face the full wrath of the citizenry when you get power. You behave like Kenya’s coffers is so healthy, the people managing it are so dumb and don’t understand it. But, one day the shoe will be on your side.

What sort of logic is this really? Fuel pricing is a predictable monthly event! Every single month we know the price will be reviewed! Shouldn’t you “protect Kenyans” when conducting the review in the first instance? We are seeing a pattern here where Kasongo throws us pain first then “reconvenes” to give us Panadol.

@NdindiNyoro While you purport to have the solutions, like reducing VAT and Fuel Levy, finish that argument with a complete view of our fiscal realities and revenue shortfalls. Stop being another Ruto who’s seeking power and relevance with the sure fact that govt cannot run minus revenue.

@MartinTheEpic1 @MachariaNjeru Last budget for Uhuru was 9.7bn. Minus 4 new state lodges around the country & redevelopment of the statehouse. Assuming you add the 12bn to fuel subsidy, that lasts a month. Funny thing is you lot can’t acknowledge this crisis is not govt created unlike the 2022 one.

@MachariaJa39290 @MachariaNjeru When it was 159 was there supply shocks involved? Or was it our own created mismanagement? Uhuru mismanaged Kenya’s economy even with a statehouse budget of 4.7bn. Zero plans for repayment of Euro bond he himself borrowed, a fraction of an entire 8trillion he borrowed
