🚨 ALL ABOARD BAY AREA TRANSIT DAY IS MAY 6 🚨 WE WANT YOU BACK!!! Bay Area transit agencies in partnership with the @MTCBATA and the Bay Area @AirDistrict are encouraging residents to ride transit on Tuesday, May 6, for All Aboard Bay Area Transit Day. 🧵 ⬇️

Good to see this 8-car @SFBART train pretty full on this 8:30 am yellow line. We need folks to get out of their cars and hop on transit again to relieve freeway blues and for the good of our fragile environment. @BevanDufty

🚨 Election Update: Measure FF passed! Berkeley voters just approved Measure FF, a groundbreaking measure will provide more than $250M over 14 years for street repair, repaving, and life-saving safety infrastructure. The measure was placed on the ballot by volunteer signature gatherers who collected thousands of signatures. This is a huge win and demonstrates both broad support for safer streets and the effectiveness of our grassroots organizing. In addition to better maintained, smoother streets, this means we can expect more improvements such as better sidewalks, flashing beacons, raised crosswalks, traffic calming, protected bike lanes, landscaping, and signal prioritization. To learn more about the Measure and how it will improve Berkeley’s streets, visit YesonFF.com! With about two thirds of votes counted, Measure FF has received more than 60% approval. Although more votes have yet to be counted, this incredibly positive result indicates that it’s clear FF has passed! From beginning to end, this campaign was a truly community-driven, grassroots endeavor. Thank you to every volunteer who gathered signatures, canvassed, put up a lawn sign, and talked to family or neighbors about the measure. Our collective voices and actions will lead to real change on Berkeley’s streets to make them safer, more accessible, more sustainable, and smoother — all while avoiding greater maintenance obligations in the future. You did it!

Excited to join @SFBART and @CA_Trans_Agency in the awarding of $25m to support mobility enhancements at the future transit-oriented development site at the North Berkeley BART station. This will help move Berkeley forward on our bold housing and environmental goals.

(1/4) The best way to help the campaign is to put Adena down on the ballot as your first choice, but we want you to vote with your heart — if you can't put Adena as your first choice, please put her down as your second choice vote. See an explanation below ⤵️
