We are a major producer of nitrogen fertilizer—one of the most critical inputs for modern agriculture—and export significant volumes every year. That gives us a strong foundation for agricultural and food security. In an uncertain world, Alberta is not exposed in the same way as others. We have the resources, production capacity, and expertise to support ourselves. It’s another example of how well-positioned Alberta is to stand on its own and secure a stable, prosperous future as an independent country.
