@TheRealRead Why do you need more than one ambulance? It is the number of hands that is important - they do not need to come from conveying resources. Six is a nice number, ideally two paramedics Four is probably the minimum Dont forget the value of CFRs

@NJL_Blancq It's worth reading up on the coroner's rulings, which discuss their use. From an operational and tactical point of view, I prefer clinical roles as I can assign tasks to the appropriate staff.

The more I think about it epaulettes are a kind of ridiculous method of conveying role. Obvs it’s just a holdover from military and policing influences on uniform design but from a purely ergonomics POV, why should someone have to crane their neck to figure out what I am?

Been given my induction and blue light course info. I’ve got the choice of either a 4 hour round trip daily commute, or accommodation in a room above a pub with no cooking facilities and a £15 daily food stipend. Feeling really set up for success
