Every time a person leaves or joins a team, the old team is gone and there is a new team. Every. Time. No exception. Team dynamics and working agreements will change. Sometimes only a little, sometimes a lot, sometimes you start right back at zero.

@paviOO @lennysan 10 years ago now. Wow. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Neither capacity for a podcast nor recent experience with SAFe at the moment. I hear it didn't grow up to become a better framework though.

Who would be the best person to come on my podcast to talk about the rise of SAFe and the product owner role?

Automatically Retrying Failed Celery Tasks from testdriven.io/blog/retrying-… Covers how to: (1) Retry a failed #Celery task (retry method and a decorator argument) (2) Use exponential backoff (3) Use a class-based task to reuse retry arguments (super cool!) #Django #Python

This is your periodic reminder there's no such thing as a fractional engineer. If you're assigned 50% to this project & 50% to that, then someone is willing to accept 0 productivity from you in exchange for not telling someone up front that their project isn't being supported.

This is what happens to your launchpad when you think it would be funny to launch to the world's largest rocket on 4/20, instead of when it's ready. It will probably be at least a year before the FAA will approve another Starship launch.

Many, many years ago there was a famous coding kata video, where typing/test runs were in sync with the music - a piece of art. Does someone remember which video that was? Cannot find it so far... (maybe @berndschiffer @datenreisender @johanneslink know?)

@ferparra @ttorres 9s and 10s are promoters. 0-6 are detractors. NPS is (promoters minus detractors) divided by all times 100. Result falls on a range from -100 to +100. No %. You can have (lots of detractors) and still a positive NPS of 48, given enough promoters to offset detractors.

@ttorres Without googling. 48 means that 48% of respondents are “promoters of the brand”, right? 8s and 9s?

Without Googling how NPS scoring works, if you saw an NPS of 48, what would you think?

@ttorres Can't answer. Depends upon development over time and context. If the score was 70 before, 48 is poor. If it was 20 before, 48 is great. If the industry NPS is -20, 48 is great. If it's 60, 48 is poor.
