🚨 OIL PRICES MAY NEVER REACH $120 AGAIN IN 2026. Since the US-Iran conflict started, Oil has seen immense volatility. It pumped almost 75% in a week before dumping 36% in 2 days. Many people think this is just a correction before Oil breaks above $120. Even UAE and Iranian officials have been warning of $150-$200/barrel. But I think this may not happen. The first reasoning behind the Oil price spike was the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz. This route allows 20% of the global oil supply (20 million barrels) to pass, and Iran has attacked several ships passing through it. Now, here's what most people are missing. Among these 20M barrels, almost 45% go to China and India. Several reports suggest that Iran is already allowing Chinese ships to pass, and some reports suggest it could do the same with India. But what about the remaining? Well, as of now, the Saudi East-West Pipeline is operating as the primary alternative to the Strait of Hormuz. It has been ramped up to its max capacity of 7M barrels/day. Combine both these, and you'll get a scenario where 15M-16M barrels of oil could pass despite Iran's hard stance on the Strait of Hormuz. Now I know this is quite speculative, but the market also thinks this could happen. But Rover, what about the massive supply crunch? Well, this is now a meme at this point, as there's nothing like a supply crunch. In October 2025, Bitcoin exchange supply was hitting new lows while ETFs were buying $700M-$800M in BTC daily. Over the next 5 months, Bitcoin dumped 50%. In Jan 2026, China implemented the Silver export ban while Silver industrial demand reached 4x its annual supply. Over the next 4 weeks, Silver dumped 40%. If you still think that the market price in a supply crunch in real time, you need to read history. Until Iran escalates with China and every major country or WWIII starts, the peak for Oil is in.
