In life, in war, Truth can be difficult to discern 1. Ask who has the most to gain from a particular action 2. Follow the Money Generally find that it helps overcome personal bias, prevalence of misinformation & tendency to prefer comfortable lies over challenging realities

116 children died in the accident at Aberfan in 1966. We are rightly and regularly reminded about it. 165 schoolgirls were murdered in Minab, at their desks, on the opening day of the US-Israeli-led illegal bombing campaign. On the BBC it's already been forgotten and the British government says nothing. Damn them.

It’s now 40 years since this quite brilliant episode of Yes, Prime Minister was broadcast but somehow it still seems remarkably appropriate after all this time! One of the best comedy series ever and superbly acted.

Asking if Mandelson was appointed in spite of his dubious connections with corrupt men is ridiculous. He was surely appointed because Starmer saw those relationships as an asset in sucking up to Trump. A deliberate, cynical appointment.

Pam mae cymaint yn cwestiynu a gafodd Mandelson ei benodi er gwaethaf ei berthynas â ffigurau llygredig? Cafodd ei benodi *oherwydd * y cysylltiadau hynny mewn gwirionedd gan fod Starmer yn gweld hynny fel cyfrwng i gadw ar ochr 'iawn' Trump.

Great to see so many businesspeople and entrepreneurs passionate about building a strong Welsh economy. The @Plaid_Cymru business event in Cardiff showed real ambition — they’re ready and already building a better future for Wales. With @RhunapIorwerth leading, Wales can move towards success, prosperity, and confidence in our future. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The company Interior Architecture Landscape Limited that has donated £200k to Reform is a sham company. These images from its website claiming to be their designs are stock images.

Polite reminder. Trump & Brexit are not 2 different things. They are the same thing. Same companies. Same data. Same Facebook. Same Russians. Same Cambridge Analytica. Same Robert Mercer. Same Steve Bannon. Same Breitbart. Same Alexander Nix. Same Donald Trump. Same Nigel Farage.

@BBCNewsnight displayed total ignorance of Wales in tonight's discussion. Glib, ill-informed passing references about Reform winning in Wales, when actually they are trailing by 14 points to @Plaid_Cymru Newsnight is oblivious to this reality.

Why the 2026 election is vital for Wales, @Plaid_Cymru and @RhunapIorwerth The 2026 election is one of the most important moments in modern Welsh history. It is about who controls Wales’s energy, natural resources, and economic future. Too many key decisions affecting Wales are still made outside Wales, often without our long-term interests at heart. This election is about strong Welsh leadership, ensuring that decisions are made in Wales, for Wales. It is about securing our energy, protecting our resources, and using them to build a sustainable, prosperous future for the next generations. 2026 is not just another election — it is a chance to start properly building our own future. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Make or break moment for Wales.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 May 2026 could mark 100 years of Plaid Cymru and the first opportunity for a Plaid-led Welsh Government free from interference by other parties. This is a historic moment for Welsh politics. I genuinely believe that if we push just a little harder, winning 49 MSs is achievable. Please stay in touch with your neighbours, former partners, local businesses, parents and grandparents. Make sure they understand how important the May 2026 election is for Welsh history and for our future. Let’s put our differences aside, get involved, and stand together with @Plaid_Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@amolrajan Your item this morning on the May elections was a disgraceful example of ignorance of politics in Wales. @Plaid_Cymru is consistently ahead in polling, yet merited no mention. Please do your homework. You should be better than this.

@implausibleblog When will Rupert Murdoch be called to give evidence? He has polluted our democracy from overseas for generations.

Victoria Derbyshire, "The Prime Minister Keir Starmer orders a probe into foreign interference in UK politics" Nick Watt, "It's not about saying did Russia influence the Brexit referendum" Only Labour could run an investigation into foreign interference in UK politics and ignore Russia's influence on Brexit 🤷‍♂️ - Bet Putin is happy

An Inquiry into foreign interference in our democracy is surely to be welcomed. But to be meaningful it must surely encompass a full expose of the perpetual pernicious poison of Rupert Murdoch and his ilk who have polluted our politics from overseas for generations.
