Bolton is right. Stop pretending that Trump’s fantasy about having “guns trained on [Liz Cheney’s] face” is a foreign policy critique. It’s wish fulfillment. It’s what Trump wants to see done to a courageous conservative who has called out his attacks on the rule of law.

And let’s see how she feels about it when the guns are trained on her face.” You can’t get into the mind of a dictator with an insatiable appetite for power — but you can recognize the playbook they all seem to follow.
