Sitting on the tarmac for 3 hours on the plane now. Pushed back. Maintenance issue on the runway. Turn around. Wait. Gate for repairs. Refuel. Still waiting. What’s the limit on amount of time you can keep passengers on a plane again, @americanair?

@united Annnnd 6 hours later they tell us we will have to stop halfway to refuel (on a 2.5 hour flight) so we may not even make it today at all. This from a maintenance issue on the first flight of the day that could’ve been taken care of earlier. @united UNBELIEVABLE

@united We have been rebooked after 3 hours on the phone that resulted in nothing and 1.5 hours in a gate agent line. We will now have an extremely long upcoming layover that I paid a lot to avoid when originally booking the tickets @united. Plus the costs of entertaining 2 kids...
