Educators everywhere - in this challenging year where those of us in education are often the target of people’s anger, please “hang in there.” You make a difference every day in the lives of young people. You are critically important to the future of this nation and you matter!

Would love to find a way to provide back to school supplies to each and every student in the world. How might we make a difference in our local communities? Share your ideas and let's make every young person's year start off right. @sprint #WinWithSprintSweepstakes

Honored to work with some amazing EdTech coaches this week @AVUSD. Juggling the roles of classroom teacher and technology coach, and doing it with passion and commitment. You all rock! #ALPlearn @DellEMCedu @ijedsnell

The #1 rule for being a successful educator is, and always will be, build positive relationships first. Be kind, caring, respectful, and you can let them see you smile. You may be the only person in their lives who ever does.

@Katy_ALP @nytimes Great article. Thanks for sharing it, Katy. It really makes one reflect on the importance of helping our young people see the value in the actual work they do and the artifacts they create. Not because of any extrinsic “rewards,” but for the sheer joy of creating and learning.

This article made me ponder the question...”How do we learn and model (for younger learners) the intrinsic value of creating excellent work vs. simply promoting our work/selves?” #ALPlearn Everything Is for Sale Now. Even Us. via @NYTimes. nyti.ms/2zs949p?smid=n…

Even conservative pro-test ed reformers now see that standardized tests don’t measure what matters most & are doing serious harm in classrooms. We must demand that policymakers work with educators to create accountability 2.0, based on student portfolios & exhibitions of mastery.

I echo your sentiments, Jeremiah. Lots of folks sharing hardware, apps, and kits. I know that #DellEMC and #ALPlearn have created some professional learning around content and creation. Let’s talk about how #ARVRinEdu enhances learning! twitter.com/jeremiahfrink/…

Saw a lot of companies trying to "kit-afy" VR. Wondering if anyone saw good content or cool creation tools? (Beyond release of google creator) #ARVRinEdu
