The Lakers maintain their No. 4 seed and home-court advantage all due to LeBron James. Despite being underdogs last night, LeBron single-handedly willed the Lakers to a win against the Warriors. Since Luka and Reaves went down, he’s averaging 28 PPG, 13 APG, and 9 RPG… at 41-years-old. The definition of greatness. 👑

Berne-Knox-Westerlo is the real deal. As good of a Class C team that's come through NYS in a very long time

I get that @NYSPHSAA has shut down @SecOneAthletics push to move private schools out of the playoffs. But the oversight of where schools are placed is lacking. Private schools should not be in Class A or lower. Watching this for 27 years, you’ll never convince me otherwise.

@8_24Mambalytics If James is a bad mid-range scorer but Kobe is elite based on a 2% difference in efficiency, what does that make Kobe at the rim where Lebron is 10% better? Never heard that Kobe was a “bad” rim finisher. Don’t forget about 3-pointers. Same 2% “gap”. Was Kobe a bad 3pt scorer?

Another bozo post by @Stats_N_Facts. Let’s debunk his argument that Bron is a good midrange shooter. 4-22 Feet Reg Season Kobe 41.8% ✅ LBJ 38.8% ❌ 4-22 Feet Playoffs Kobe 43.1% ✅ LBJ 37.8% ❌ Differential Kobe +1.3% ✅ LBJ -1.0% ❌ Bron is a career sub-40% shooter beyond 4 feet. And guess what? He’s even worse in the playoffs. This is why the Spurs, Mavs, and Dubs dared him to shoot. 🧱

Reality Check@Stats_N_Facts

LeBron was never the mid‑range killer some stars were, but the gap wasn’t nearly as big as people pretend - and he made up for it by dominating every other aspect of the game like nobody else. The way people talk about him on here, you’d think he was some one‑dimensional paint bully. In reality, he’s been a 3‑level threat his entire career. His shot diet just wasn’t the same as the “pure scorers” fans idolize, so they rewrite history and act like he had no skill.

Nick Wright on the narrative that Michael Jordan would be good at 3s if he ‘wanted to’ 😬 “There was a brief stretch of time where Jordan was a good 3PT shooter. That period was when they moved the line in. As soon as they moved the line back out, he went from 37% shooting 4 a game, to 23% shooting 1.5 a game. After 3 years of retirement, he came back and was a nice crisp 19% 3PT shooter. He might be the greatest player of all time, but the idea he just ‘chose’ too be bad at something, rather than it was the one thing he wasn’t great at” (Via @WhatsWrightShow)

“LeBron is NOT a scorer” Bron passed Jordan in points with nearly 1,262 fewer FGA attempts. Passed Kobe in points by nearly 2,000 FGA fewer. Passed Kareem as all-time highest scorer with nearly 1,000 FGA fewer. And all that while delivering 11,000+ assists.

If the 2013 Heat were a superteam based on LeBron's best 2 teammates so we're the 2019 Raptors and 2022 Warriors (along with a ton of other teams but this is a good place to start because NOBODY calls those other 2 teams a superteam). Here's the proof 2013 NBA finals Wade + Bosh 31.5 PPG 12.9 RPG 6.7 APG 51.1 total PPG + RPG + APG LeBron 43.2 total PPG + RPG + APG 2019 NBA finals Siakam + Lowry 36.0 PPG 11.5 RPG 10.9 APG 58.4 total PPG + RPG + APG Kawhi 42.5 total PPG + RPG + APG 2022 NBA finals Wiggins + Klay 35.3 PPG 11.8 RPG 4.2 APG 51.3 total PPG + RPG + APG Steph 41.2 total PPG + RPG + APG The ONLY reason they consider the 2013 Heat a superteam and not those other 2 teams is because of LeBron. But the same people who claim the 2013 Heat were a superteam will also have the nerve to say Kawhi and Curry were better than Bron. Make it make sense. They just do this to try and diminish LeBron's accomplishments because they KNOW he's the goat and just hate to admit it.

LeBron James could miss his next 593 shots and have a higher field goal percentage than Michael Jordan. He could play just under eight full seasons (654 games) without registering an assist while still averaging more of them than Jordan. These numbers are basically meaningless.
Ryan M. Spaeder@theaceofspaeder

Michael Jordan could return to the NBA today, go scoreless for 128 consecutive games, and would still average more points-per-game than LeBron James.

LeBron competing in the dunk contest wasn’t gonna make Ja Morant do it. we’re talking about grown ass multimillionaires — y’all just think he’s God lol
TheAudubonDon@MF_Period

@AshNicoleMoss "Lead by example"? Same as when you see the star player disciplined by a coach, makes it easier for the others to be disciplined... He made it "cool"/ok, not to play hard in the ASG & to NOT compete in the slam dunk contest.

I've had questions about Darius Acuff and his style of play with how that fits at the NBA level all season but man, I think he just might be too good on offense for it to matter. Goodness, today spectacular vs. Auburn.
