Hundreds of crew members and contractors are beginning repairs and restoration in areas where it is safe to do so. Additional teams will join on Thursday morning. Our top priority is ensuring the safety of our communities, customers and work crews. A second PSPS may be required for customers in Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties, on Friday, Dec. 19, beginning as early as 5 a.m. This means some areas may experience outages of more than three days due to overlapping weather events.

Wind gusts reached 90-100 mph in some areas of the Front Range yesterday evening, and as soon as it was safe, crews mobilized to assess damage, patrol lines, and inspect equipment. Restoration work has started and will be ongoing for several days as our teams battle with an additional round of severe wind tomorrow morning. We appreciate your patience and kindness to our crews as they navigate difficult conditions.

This ActiBlizz thing has me thinking about how my job started putting more weight into metrics from our ticketing system and I quietly stopped using it all together in protest. Got a promotion 3 months later.

@oogamusic not blindly, but absolutely cutting individual elements in the lower freqs if they clash or cause mud. pretty much never cutting the sub or main bass sounds either unless something noticeably weird is happening down there.

Producers: are we cutting frequencies below the fundamental root note of our low end or not? let’s discuss

@audiogoblin oh yea.. it's usually the same song/phrase/etc for me tho. sucks when it's a tune you're actively working on so you get sick of it quicker than usual. it can be hard but stopping myself from unnecessarily endlessly looping sections of the track during sessions has helped.
