I left the NJSBA Convention feeling inspired after four incredible days of connection and growth. I got to spend lots of time with my amazing fellow officers on the Executive Board. Our keynote speakers, John Quinones and the legendary Sonia Manzano who played Maria on Sesame Street for 44 years, sparked meaningful conversations. As a proud school board member of the LRHSD I urge @GovMurphy to sign bill S3732 into law. This bill would reduce the original proposed cut in state aid to LRHSD from $1.175 million to approximately $400K. It is imperative for our school district that this bill is signed into law

I can’t say a loss due to the heart that these ladies showed in the 2nd half and the how they played all year. I say it a lot but I am so proud to be in this district. We have amazing administrators, teachers, staff and students in all 4 schools. #blessed #bekind

I have to say what an amazing season the Cherokee Lady Chiefs Basketball team had this year. They were down by 13 points and got the game to 1 against a very strong Bayonne team. The game ended with Bayonne having 1 more point. Continued below #blessed #bekind
