Few tears reading through this thread. Thank you for helping keep Sam’s memory alive, Tony. Next Saturday the Foltz family honor Sam in Memorial Stadium by announcing his memorial scholarship. 2 days later they will be back again to cheer on Lane and the Cougars.

Saw the first family of Husker football as I was walking to the stadium. Gerald and Jill Foltz are presenting the Sam Foltz Memorial scholarship to a current Husker player today. Always great to see Sam's parents.
