@BlazersNationCP Awesome. Deni doesn't drive to the basket and is a natural spot up shooter so this make perfect sense.
English

@balldontstop How does that make sense? Do you watch basketball? Deni and Giannis play the same position/style. They get their buckets at the rim. So in your world Deni would transform into a spot-up shooter?
English

@blazers_palace It's pretty simple and obvious that, given what we would have to give up, neither of those guys would make us contenders relative to OKC/SAN, especially considering they'd only play like 60 games per year.
This is not NBA2K people 😞

@brasablazers @hoopblazers Yeah, that's a fair point. But he's a good, experienced NBA head coach.

🗞️ @sam_amick

@BlazersArgento He would never come. If he was interested in a rebuild he would re-sign with GSW. He'd be mostly likely to take the HOU job if it becomes available.
English

Si no sigue en los Warriors, los Blazers deben ir a buscar a Steve Kerr al minuto de que Shams Charania haya publicado el tuit.

@BlazersLead @smacktok I just like the grit and attitude of this team. They play hard. They play together. They all seem "bought in". We saw glimpses of that under Chauncey but more consistency with Tiago. We have a solid, young core. Bringing in a ⭐️ on a big contract could disrupt that. Let's build.
English

@DraftDeeper Ya'll, when has a big trade like that ever worked? KD to GSW, but they already had like 2 rings. Meanwhile the Knicks down 2 - 1 to the *Hawks* 😅
English

IF and I mean IF a trade were to be pursued by Portland if Giannis is ACTUALLY available... I'd expect it to look something similar to this. Give Milwaukee back control of more of its draft, and offer one of Shaedon Sharpe or Toumani Camara whichever Milwaukee would prefer.

Legion Hoops@LegionHoops
The Blazers are “ready” to pursue trading for Giannis if he’s open to signing with them long term, per @billoram. Dame, Jrue Holiday, and Giannis 🤯 (h/t @TheNBABase)
English

@shaesharpeshow If Tiago gets the Blazers to the second round, with *this* team, against *that* team (even w/o their star player), he'll be fielding HC offers from other teams in the off-season, trust me.
We acting like he ain't got options. He'll have options.

@503Blazerfans Pretty sure you meant RE-Sign but just to clarify. We need him back next year , no question . He’s a beast in the paint !

@LeBatardShow @Trysta_Krick We'll have to see how this plays out. I think no matter what Tiago Splitter will be a HC in the NBA next season. If some playoff contenders underperform he may have better options elsewhere tbh.
English

@TyreeSmithTV He deserves to be head coach of the Portland Trailblazers, but if he isn't selected, there's an >80% chance he's a HC somewhere else next season.
English

@Polpoll140544 @SwishBruhYT @ThePDXKid Yeah, they also had one of the weakest schedules but fair enough.
English

I get it’s still a lowball but this “reporter” at the Oregonian was the one pushing the 1m - 1.5m narrative hard. Clearly has bias and dislikes Dundon. Irrelevant and not an nba reporter with sources
Evan Sidery@esidery
The Blazers were interested in interviewing Mike Malone for their head coach opening, but were only willing to offer around $4 million per year, per @billoram. Malone earned around double that salary with the Nuggets, and he will make $7.5 annually million at North Carolina.
English

@SwishBruhYT @ThePDXKid If HOU gets bounced in the first round to a Lakers team sans two of its stars, it's quite possible Udoka will get fired. And if he does, we'd have to give him a good look. But you're right. Tiago has earned it.
English

@ThePDXKid I think Tiago has earned it officially now. It’s almost impossible to not back Tiago for the job now imo.
English

@kerryeggers I have to respectfully disagree Kerry. I'm a lifelong Trailblazers fan living in the Bay Area. The knock on Kerr is his inability to develop young talent. That and he'll have no interest in a rebuild project. If HOU exits early that's a likely landing spot. $ and assets.
English

With due respect to Tiago Splitter, who has done a whale of a job as acting coach of @blazers. If Steve Kerr is available, Tom Dundon should pursue it. Accomplished coach, great guy, and he enjoyed living in Portland in his one season playing with the Blazers (2001-02). He might have interest in coaching a young, up-and-coming club.
Only thing: He's not coming for $1 million a year. He made $17.5 million this past season in the second of a two-year, $35-million extension with @warriors.

@shaesharpeshow You favor Scoot starting over Shae? I realize that's probably what will happen, and Shae is recovering from injury, but he gets another 4 days of rest before Sunday and we could probably use his outside shooting.
