The problem with vaccine waning 4-6 months later was 1st recognized in Israel in July, confirmed by more than 10 reports, and occurs with all vaccines. Protection is fully restored (or even exceeded) by 3rd (booster) shots.

It is absolutely possible to safely have in-person schools
But you can't just wing it
You need to
1. Vaccinate adults
2. Ventilate classrooms
3. Test folks weekly
4. Wear masks indoors
If adults acted responsibly
Kids could be safe in classrooms

NEW: this chart is important It’s early days, but there are signs that the vaccines may be working against the Indian variant B.1.617.2 Resurgences in Bolton & Blackburn are so far confined to younger people. Cases remain low & flat among the mostly-vaccinated older population.
