My very 1st band was a (mercifully) short-lived combo called The Bolos. We made just enuff noise to land prime opening slots with my fave band on earth, Rank and File (I discovered years later they called us 'The Bozos'- a MUCH more apt name). You only pick your 1st gigs once.
