In a few years, Europe will be governed by right wing governments, and they will read your encrypted messages, prevent you from posting and reading ideas they disagree with and even jail you for wrongthink, and the current governments create the laws making that possible

A Zionist is someone that wants to have a Jewish state. How would making Muslim people hate gay people advance the state of Israel? I don't like Israel, they do lots of sneaky stuff yes, but everything they do is to advance the Zionist agenda, why would they waste time on something that doesn't. This girl is just dumb.

She converted to Islam and claims homosexuality and trans have always been part of Islam, and that it’s the Zionists who made Muslims homophobic. “You cannot be a Muslim and be transphobic. You are only giving the Zionists ammunition.” Who’s going to tell her?

VImag Labs blew my mind. They've built what they call a Virtual Magnet Synchronous Motor (VMSM). Traditional permanent magnet motors rely on rare earth magnets inside the rotor. These magnets are imported and expensive. Instead of using permanent magnets, VImag's rotor contains windings that are electronically excited and precisely controlled through software. As current is induced and managed in the rotor, it behaves like a "virtual magnet" allowing the rotating magnetic field from the stator to drive the motor just like a conventional permanent magnet synchronous motor. This means that the motor delivers the benefits of a permanent magnet design without actually needing rare earth magnets. Their current prototype is rated for 6 kW continuous power, with a peak output of 10 kW and 48 to 58 Nm of torque. The initial target market is EVs (everything from two wheelers, three wheelers, buses, and trucks). They may also use them in compressors and ceiling fans. The upsides are: 1. Lower cost. 2. Lower weight. 3. Smaller size. 4. Ability to control magnetic field. 5. Improved efficiency over PMSM. 6. Indigenous manufacturing and supply chain resilience. The company has been working on this tech since 2020.

🚨 Bengaluru-based Vimag Labs has been granted a fifth patent for their magnet-free electric motor. This is fully indigenous and uses just copper, steel and standard electronics.

The absolute madness of the UK… People claiming benefits with 3 children can water their gardens with a hosepipe …. But working families supporting those on benefits are banned! and can get a £1000 fine if they do. Seriously … what is the point in working?

100% been hit at about 80kmh head on through a turn signal by a brand new Camry Hybrid, I was in a MK 5 golf we both got out and both were fine walking around. I work in smash repair and automotive, the golf I was driving the workshop car was beyond what I see at work. The instant write off's don't make it to my work.

6 years as a firefighter taught me that if you wear your seatbelt, it is very difficult to die in a car crash, even a relatively high speed one. It also taught me that it is very easy to die if you are not wearing a seatbelt. I can't tell you how many times I was first on scene to a 50+ mph crash, even head on or rollovers, and the cars were smashed to shit, but everyone in the cars was completely fine, not much more than some scratches or bruises. In many cases, all occpants were out of the vehicles and walking around before we even got there. But if anyone wasn't wearing their seatbelt, they were seriously fucked up or dead on arrival.

@sminston_with I should've bought back in 2013-14 when I was looking at it. Oh well I didn't because I was reluctant to dump 10k on something that might fail, and there was a chance of that if regulations came in which they did, but they sort of let it keep going.

🚨 Data Centers in Ohio are preparing to discharge their water usage directly into lakes and streams and the EPA is working on permits to let them do it “The Ohio EPA is drafting permits to let that wastewater flow straight into our lakes and streams. Five year permits, no guarantee of a sewage treatment plant on site, just straight into the river if that's what's nearby” This is very real, the EPA is actually doing this, and there are real concerns: Concerns raised by residents include - Thermal pollution: Hot water can harm aquatic life. - Chemicals: Potential for biocides, metals, or other additives. - Massive withdrawals and discharges of water strain local water bodies, especially during droughts - Environmental groups like Great Lakes groups warn of risks to drinking water, recreation and ecosystems

@Vivek4real_ The whole US system is stupid, it's not capitalism, it's the fact big companies have so much power over government. They want the patent office so they can stifle their competition, many patents companies don't even use anymore but hold the rights to it, that is just crazy.

PALMER LUCKEY: “PATENTS ARE CHINESE INSTRUCTION MANUALS.” “STOP PATENTING EVERYTHING. THE FOUNDING FATHERS NEVER PREDICTED A WORLD WHERE THE ENTIRE PATENT OFFICE COULD BE DOWNLOADED EVERY MORNING, RIPPED OFF, AND USED TO FIGHT A WAR AGAINST YOU.” “WE NEED TO FUNDAMENTALLY REVISIT THE PATENT SYSTEM.” “I THINK WE NEED TO MASSIVELY EXPAND THE NATIONAL SECURITY PATENT PROCESS. YOU CAN OBTAIN A CLASSIFIED PATENT THAT YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO DISCLOSE TO ANYONE... WHILE STILL MAINTAINING EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS.” “WE NEED TO MASSIVELY EXPAND THAT PROGRAM.”
