All is well again

A big part of me wants to say wait for now to make sure his ideas are truly as bad as we think they are and otherwise give him no attention until two years in when (we assume) everything has completely gone to shit. If we give him shit at the beginning and then it somehow ends up working out, won’t be a good look. But like I said, in 2-3 years if everything goes to shit then give him all the shit because he deserves all the shit

If the average Democrat sounded like him and truly believed what he is saying as the truth and cared about what the real average American is struggling with regardless of their demographic makeup, I would be a Democrat. But therein lies the problem. Nothing from the Democratic Party has made me feel like they give a quarter of a shit about my problems and my desire for the American dream that my parents and grandparents speak so lovingly of, to the degree that I can’t trust that me voting for them is ever gonna have anything to do with my best interest because no average democratic politician that is in prominence in the political zeitgeist of America makes me feel heard, understood, or taken care of and as lame as that may sound and as make-fun-of-able as some people on the left may read that as, it’s true and their propensity to make fun of my expression of that feeling is why I will stay Republican until that sentiment changes. And the worst part is if 1,000 Democrats see this message then enough of them will mock me for it rather than saying “I hear you and I want you to feel whole against in our economic and governmental system no matter what you believe politically”, rather than cheer for my betterment, further proving my belief in how their party feels against me and their message against the end goals of people with multigenerational American ancestry. I don’t want people without said multigenerational ancestry to struggle, just wanna make that clear for those who assume I meant otherwise, even though they will assume as much anyway no matter what I say.

Democrats don’t have a messaging problem. We have a results problem.
