A follower reached out to me because Bamboo has been holding his deposit for over one week without explanation. His bank confirmed the transfer was successful and the funds were delivered, yet nothing has reflected on his Bamboo account. He has sent emails with no response, and when he turned to the in-app support, he discovered that Bamboo has replaced every human communication channel with a chatbot. There is absolutely no way to reach a real person. One week of silence while someone’s hard-earned money sits in limbo is not a technical issue, it is a failure of responsibility. @investbamboo , where is this man’s money and why have you made yourself completely unreachable to your customers?

This one is to those who believe that if you take loans from Opay or FairMoney etc and ignore repayment for 6 months, they’ll stop adding interest and start begging you. You are in for a shocker.
Read the loan agreement you accepted before your loan was approved.
There is a clause in the agreement authorizing them to use your BVN to recover the debt from any bank account linked to it after a waiting period, which is years later. One morning, money could disappear from your traditional bank account without prior notice.
Remember how some NIRSAL and COVID loan recoveries happened? Similar process.
You’re better off not taking the loan at all, or if you do, make sure you pay it back.
