Are you ready for what happens if Trump follows through on this threat and Iran responds by systematically destroying ALL Gulf oil and gas infrastructure and the markets start pricing in the prospect of YEARS without that oil, whether the Strait is open or not? What are the Europeans, Indians and Japanese doing about this? Are they just going to let it happen and watch their economies burn? Is that really worth clinging to the old strategic safety of cowering behind Uncle Sam's skirts. They are like rabbits caught in the headlights. They don't know what to do.

There are folks on here screaming about Iran having a 4k range missile as if that is some sort of proof Iran is a unique threat. If the capacity to bomb the most spots in the world is what makes a threat, by that logic the US is the biggest threat to the world.

I've been following him for 10 years. He means what he says. He has been attacked in the most disgusting way by French media and other politicians for standing up for the Palestinians. He had 2 murder attempts against him and still didn't change his tune in defense of Palestinians, cubans, venezuelans and Iran's sovereignty. His house was devastated with nazi tags on it. Others in our movement got their houses burned. And of course the usual accusation of antisemitism. Basically, he stands strong and we all do.

Guys, are you ready for economageddon? Everybody WFH (but then mass layoffs), travel rationing, food prices way higher, energy bills up by hundreds of pounds. Do we have the fiscal room to deal with this? Uncertain. But even if we do, the markets will enforce HARSH austerity the instant it's over. It has NOT sunk in just how big a real this is. The whole planet just saw the US sink an unarmed Iranian ship -- so if you think oil barrels floating around in the ocean are safe from these pirates, think again. I'll also remind you that a Russian arctic LNG tanker got blown up in the Mediterranean by Ukraine (meaning the US/NATO) while rerouting gas during this "crisis".

The US in the last 3 months has stripped China of 30% of its LNG (from Qatar), 4% of its seaborne crude (from Venezuela), and now threaten another 11% of China's crude imports (from Iran). I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss those figures.
