Seattle Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald - Attacking Protections with 5-0 Fronts
- "Let's not even screw with the numbers, let's just standardize it. Let's get them to a 5-0 and make them respect that we're in a balanced formation and now let's dictate to them what they have to do. And then that way we can stay ahead of the eight ball."
- "That's the most inexpensive thing to do (5-0 Games) and it's probably the hardest on offensive lines to pick up consistently."

“Why is Seattle’s defense so good?”
They can lie to you with anyone. Their pieces can do jobs other than their assigned “roles” and they’re the aggressors. It’s chaotic as all hell for an offense to deal with, but simple for them. People will try to rip the Macdonald’s gameplans without understanding *why* this works. It’s because they’re willing to play positionless. You have little idea what anyone is doing on a given snap.
