Lore aside, Ready or Not copaganda discourse is really funny because the gamification of SWAT missions actually pushes you towards being an actual ideal cop that uses non-lethal force exclusively, since you can only get the highest score if you don’t kill anyone

@Kaiserhawk @kuso_otoko Well, not just a cop, but a Tactical Officer. SWAT are called in when Cops cannot contain the situation and to de-escalate an already out-of-hand scenario. Some of the shit D-Plat has to do makes no sense IMO. They’re a Tactical Unit, not street cops.

@Gleebus34 Wrong, this isn’t a Cop game. This is a SWAT game. Not “SWAT4” game, SWAT. Tactical Officers/SRT/TR/whatever acronym are sent in AFTER First Responders (LEO) cannot contain the situation/de-escalate. We are here to NOT play as cops, but as the lawful escalation.
