@piggyvest Why have an interest on/off toggle that causes users to forfeit accrued interest when off? Feels like stealing; No one joins your app to skip interest! Please remove this feature. I've lost mine accidentally; can I get it back? I need my interest o!"

THIS IS MY STORY!!!
Everything was good and moderately okay. Then we got wedded, 7months into our marriage, my husband lost his job, Things moved from bad to worst, I was pregnant at the time, we couldn't feed, we were given EVICTION NOTICE every now and then. He started a taxi and on the other hand I started a hair styling business.. I was praying fervently while fasting and it was as if the more we pray, the tougher it becomes. at that point, I said to myself God has forsaken me and my family.most times all we pray for is to get atleast 1 MEAL a day. Our car broke down eventually, FCT development control came and demolished my shop, I mean in all of this we were already facing, I will watch my husband cry profusely at night begging God to come through, this always get to me but what can I do? This morning I have decided to Cry for help believing there is nothing God cannot do. We are based in the FCT and I am crying pleading, begging, to ANYONE at all to give us the best gift this CHRISTMAS by helping us with a Job. We will be more than grateful and can say God finally came through. Help RT🙏🏽any JOB RECOMMENDATION for my HUSBAND and I

The first big money I ever earned in my life was a ₦225,000 Chevron Scholarship towards the end of my 2nd year in college.
I gave ₦25,000 as tithe, I gave a classmate ₦12,000 to pay for sickle cell treatment of his sister, I gave fellow struggling students like me different amounts, some got ₦500, some ₦5,000...then I got myself a used laptop and plenty of books.
Before this time, the highest amount my bank account had ever seen was ₦10,500. Receiving over 20 times that amount at once was crazy.
By the time I was done giving, I still had over ₦125,000 left. Yet, a year after that, the money had doubled to ₦250,000 as more scholarships from various sources flowed in.
That experience reinforced a belief I had then and that I still have now: my money is not really mine. I'm just a custodian of it. This is why it is so hard for me to buy things for myself but I find it so easy to give it away.
When I moved to the U.S. and started earning in $, it was a no-brainer for me to continue the practice that has served me so well. Same as when I started in Shell and started making real money.
For about 10 years now, the biggest line item in my personal finances is not taxes, or mortgage, but donations - to God, to charity, to causes I believe in and to the needy.
Last year, my CPA said, "you give more away than most households in the US earn."
I believe you can give your way to prosperity.
To grow, you need to let go.
Tithing is a good first step in learning to let go.

Be sincere — can you really pay ₦20M as tithe if you earn ₦200M monthly ?

My dad had no idea where my school was until I finished (secondary school). Infact he had no idea what class I was until the last term I was about to take my WAEC.
The funny part is that my mom never for one day used it against him in our presence or even talk about it. The day we asked her why our Dad never came to our school, Her answer was "your dad is trying o, he knows all the teachers in your school, he just don't want you to know because they all report to him anytime you misbehave "
To us, our daddy never cared but we never saw behind the scenes.
He may have never been to our school but he always pays our school fees.
My mom will always cover him up and when she buys things like Television with her money, she will write my dad's name on the receipt.
We saw all that and how we were able to follow up without giving all the credit to my mom was so easy.
And when we started working, we made sure our dad had those things he wished to have years back. I used my first million to get him a land and so did my brother too.
They may not have it all now but at least they now have their own money they can spend without thinking of sharing it for the family needs..
Love is not enough to hold a family, marry a woman that will be your defender when your presence is not there. My mom was my dad's backbone.

I once interviewed for a role- my first role in the development sector and during the interview, the boss knew I did not have sufficient experience for the role and I knew this as well because I botched all the answers to the questions asked.
After the interview, I was on my way out of his office, I stopped at the door, looked back at him and said, “sir, I know I did not do well in this interview and its clear I have no experience for this role but I am an excellent motivator and can make anyone do anything, with me, you will always have a highly motivated team and get good results”.
Man bent his head to hide his smile and made a note on my CV and told me to leave the office. I did not only get the role, I became his project supervisor and yes, I did not let the team down or downcast for one day on the role and we made miracles on that project.
Many years later, I am still inspiring and motivating new teams to success.
May not classify as unhinged but it was daring enough in my book.
