The UAE now owns so many assets around the world, that the high price of oil hurts our global business interests, more than it helps our oil revenues. The UAE cares about the global economy because it's invested, and there is no longer a need, or a benefit, to extracting oil profits through a cartel.

When the Iran war started, we were told it was necessary because we needed to neutralize their nuclear program forever. So, how's it gonna look if we agree to a deal that doesn't do that? Because right now the deals that Iran is offering don't do that. They, in fact, take the nuclear issue off the table altogether.
