Utterly disturbing and truly horrific child sexual abuse allegations against an Indianapolis man. Yasir Gamble, 19, is charged with nine counts of felony child exploitation. Gamble is accused of creating and distributing videos of him sexually abusing infants. The details alleged are so disturbing I have refrained from including most of them. The investigation began in November when feds stopped Gamble as he got off a cruise ship at a port in New Orleans. Homeland Security agents flagged IMPD when investigators allegedly found 100+ images and videos of child porn on his phone. Court docs say police later determined Gamble had created some of the videos and traced them to his home in Indianapolis. Gamble also allegedly created and shared videos while on the cruise, where he ejaculated onto baby changing stations or fondled himself with children present. Court docs allege in messages with other users on a social media platform, Gamble admitted to ejaculating in baby food and returning to the store. Police say he told the user that he “put it in the first row for reason.” He allegedly said his preferred age range is “0-13” Investigators allege Gamble regularly shared child sex abuse material. Police also found a file in his notes app that listed prices. Gamble was arrested Thursday at Job Corps in Edinburgh. He is being held in jail without bond and has an initial hearing set for Monday morning.

I am headed for bed but I just got the unsealed federal indictment. Regarding Amritpal Singh, he has another name Amritpal Singh Bal. He was arrested in Greenwood. According to the court documents he is accused of managing networks of long-haul semi-truck drivers and local couriers transporting bulk quantities of cocaine and meth. I’m only on page 12. I’ll continue reporting tomorrow. Early alarm!

BREAKING: a source tells me a dog has died and another rescued from a hot car parked at a Cicero restaurant. I am told a Rottweiler passed away and a doodle mix was rushed to the VCA in Fishers. A woman I talked to at the VCA said their ER department said they are not allowed to comment on any dogs that might be in their care. The police dispatch supervisor told me they did rescue a dog, but no other information was available. I was told I could email the public information officer. I called the manager of the restaurant, Boathouse Kitchen and Swan Dive, she told me they had no comment but was clearly crying and heartbroken. My source says a woman was arrested but I have not confirmed that. Randy Pinkston was there and told me, “The 2 dogs were left in a vehicle for an hour while they were in The Boathouse. They said they left the a/c on in the vehicle. Obviously irresponsible as the car will turn itself off after a short while when the car gets hot. Both dogs were completely unresponsive. On the scene I was told Cicero PD was detaining and issuing citations. It was honestly one of the most irresponsible things I have ever witnessed. The Boathouse allows you to bring your dog on the patio, if you absolutely must stop for drinks on a 95 degree day with your dogs. I am devastated at the loss. The entire staff did everything reasonable trying to assist in the effort to save these poor dogs.”

Wild stuff happening in Greenwood. Someone sent over an article about a planned 51-acre development in South Greenwood featuring a temple and community space. I drove by the site yesterday and there’s a sign up for “Gurudwara Shaheedan” billed as "Indiana’s first Sikh community development". They’ve also posted a 3D rendering on their instagram page of what the project could look like, and it’s a pretty large-scale buildout similar in concept to developments like Epic City in Texas. Naturally, I had to see if there is a trucking business attached to the address. Spoiler Alert there is and it was dissolved in April. Here is where it gets fun. The Incorporator's address for the Gurudwara Shaheedan Non-profit also a trucking business attached to it that was dissolved a few years ago. Even the Registered Agent's address has a trucking business attached to it. Using the @SearchCarriers map tools, I also checked how many trucking operations are registered in the general vicinity of the proposed site and it came back with well over 300. RIP Greenwood if this project happens. dailyjournal.net/2025/10/28/51-…
