What was supposed to be a fun night turned into a debate about hygiene, professionalism, and standards. By the end of it, the manager decided to shut the bar down early to address the issue. Bartenders shouldn’t be touching the foam or rim of a served drink with bare hands. That’s a hygiene violation. Health inspectors would absolutely flag that. Proper pour technique keeps hands off the glass once it’s ready, period. It only takes one moment like that to lose customer trust. Clean habits behind the bar aren’t optional, they’re part of the job. Would you say something if you saw that happen, or just leave and never come back?
