We intended to release a token, The HypurrFi Foundation was created and everything, believe me when I say the wind down was not the original choice, but it is the right one, and one we only made the other day.
The team found out about a week before everyone else did.
My statements in August I still stand by, and it’s painfully clear even to this day, that many, probably you included, still didn’t really read them.
This isn’t some gotcha moment, startups fail all the time, there’s a real economic cost associated to HypurrFi and the market isn’t supporting it.
A token would have only made people more angry as the outcome would be the same.
Seemingly the people who are most angry about the wind down are the ones I care the least about, as they were never here for us to begin with.

Initially I thought the OP was just joking. But apparently not. I have now withdrawn all funds from HypurrFi. Not giving your users a large portion of an airdrop because you fear they will sell it for more $hype is a weird take. The whole point of a points program is to to reward those who provide tvl with an incentive. If you fear your token maybe dumped, perhaps work on token utility or pmf.
