Zoom users still report high CPU usage in some cases, along with audio and breakout room issues when sessions get more involved. Google Meet is easier to jump into, but user reviews still mention basic participant controls, inconsistent screen sharing, and weaker collaboration features for complex meetings. Video conferencing still has real pain points. At dMeet, we’re working to address them with smoother performance and better meeting control. Don’t believe us? Scheduling calls shouldn’t live across 5 tools. So we fixed that. @dMeetApp now has: • Scheduled meetings • Email invites & updates • Built-in calendar • Dedicated meeting pages From plan → to call. Same place. Read the full release below ↓

Translation race The world seems to have woken up to the fact that video calls need real-time translation. Google used I/O 2025 to announce near real-time speech translation in Meet, and just last month, DeepL published a study claiming DeepL Voice outperformed Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. While the race is getting busy, we’ve been in our lane long enough to glance back at it from behind. Live meetings with real-time AI translation are here: - decentralized - low latency - secured - no geo restriction. built on @dTelecom
