@SteveMaves Yes I took a .dd image of NextStep I found online and renamed to .hda. There is a next-specific INI file as well that you need in the SD card along with the .hda drive image.

@billdeg Did you find the settings online for SCSI2SD specific to Next? You should be able to get the drive to format in NextStep. Details I used here… ctrl-alt-rees.com/2018-09-19-nex…

Booting a new to me NeXT cube computer with an external hard drive. NeXT install OS on a new SD2SCSI drive that will last a long time. Replaced the internal battery
