@KevinCaseyGC So true, Kevin. And although he did win 2 Opens after being ill with tuberculosis in 1903, his health was never the same. And what might he have done if playing 4 majors per year, before and after he was sick?

It’s kind of bizarre how time has washed away Harry Vardon’s greatness. Below from Herbert Warren Wind’s The Story of American Golf (from 1975). Nowadays, Vardon is basically not even mentioned in the greatest European debate.
