@jenkingallo @Commoncents21 @theage Hilarious the it's come to potholes. Peter Smark (a reminder that the Age once had important journalists) famously said "when they aim low, we aim high." It's now @theage that is down in the gutter courtesy of its roster of Herald-Sun and other Murdoch hires.

@Commoncents21 @theage We’ve had substantial & continual rain in Victoria which has resulted in pothole damage. The roads are a lot better than they used to be but expecting the potholes to be fixed overnight is ridiculous.
These days the Age is running a campaign to unseat Labor & install their Libs.
English

@Commoncents21 @theage Note the expectant biased language by Liberal Party mouthpiece @theage. "Finally delivers". Let's hope that the Jess Wilson recession finally kills off the Age. That would be just deserts.

@TerenceMcCart14 The Wheelers haver given so much back to Melbourne, the city where Lonely Planet originated.

It's funny, we woke up one morning and @theage had turned into the Herald-Sun, complete with the same writers, desperate tabloid tone and ugly rightist undercurrents. If you want to read Murdoch, buy the real thing! #media #Australia

@AmeliaBee7 A Wilson government would be even more vindictive that Kennett. He was manipulated but guileless, she is a product of the far-right, including IPA.

Finally! @theage publishes an op-ed that loves & understands #Melbourne: Love or hate graffiti like Pam the Bird, Melbourne’s reputation wasn’t built on permission slips theage.com.au/culture/art-an…

Dan Andrews deserves many statues around Victoria - not just one. Whose payroll are you on? 😏 Spill the beans Dave.

@TerenceMcCart14 So long as Dan's is still in there, I don't care about the fast food.

My Mum recently moved into an aged care facility. She has not received a single invoice or receipt for money deducted from her bank account by the facility. Repeated attempts to get explanations have failed. The system is wide open for abuse and even fraud.

Today's Guardian headlines widespread malpractice in #agedcare where residents are charged extravagant fees for services they don't want & never asked for. Tragedy of aged care in Australia is that legislation heavily supports providers not residents. Huge change needed NOW.
