I was concerned for #Pakistan before, but a recent speech by the Army Chief has led me to believe that things are truly dire. His closed-door angry tirade to senior officers in Sialkot has been reliably shared with me. The entire speech was alarming but two points stand out:(1/6)

@AbdullahKhan333 Irony is that @MuradSaeedPTI is adamant it was a suicide blast and government is degrading the shuhadah by empowering police to complete investigations & preliminarily conclude short circuit as the culprit.

How irresponsible is our PM who declared the blasts at a #Swat police station 'suicide attack' without verification? Is PDM really looking for such attacks to further delay #elections? Preliminary investigations suggest the explosives stored in the basement caught fire.

Strongly condemn suicide attack on CTD police station in Swat. Nation is deeply grieved over martyrdom of police officials. Our police has been the first line of defence against terrorism. We will not rest until we eliminate this scourge. My condolences to bereaved families.

A v serious question. Regrettably, China’s strict laws mean that we will not be able to take our 2 dogs with us to Beijing. They are gentle brothers, who were rescued 3 yrs ago. We are looking for a home/place in Pakistan where they could b together. Does anyone have suggestions?

@ZulfiqarAhmed69 Spot on, but $2bn mentioned in your comment for IT is the sector's export quantum currently. Potential for export-growth in ICT is certainly significant, and drawing parallels with market size of agri in Pak seemed a bit stretched.
Both sectors should be promoted & supported

Every time I attend an IT workshop or a meeting, the so called Gurus talk about our $2 billion Current IT industry and potential to grow 100 times to $200 billion.
Our agri sector is currently $70 billion. Can we look into double it up? 🤔
