I said in my recent interview with @ShawnKhunkhun that the #gold miners barely outpacing the price of gold was a major buying opportunity. As I watch $AEM drop 4% today, I put my money where my mouth is and took a large position. I have a time horizon measured in years and I think over that time frame, Agnico will do very well from here.

@runaway_vol If they are both similarly trained and similarly athletic, yes, size means a heck of a lot.
If not, try sparring even an amateur mma fighter 2-3 weight classes down. Cardio, power, even strength, could surprise you.

@runaway_vol Size matters but there’s a lot of variability among weight, especially for regular folk.
I’ve met 150 lbs. guys who hit like trucks, have cardio for days, and can wrestle their ass off. I’ve also met gentle, awkward 250 lbs. giants that have trouble going a three min round.

Different animals, gold and gold stocks, even the best ones. I remember buying royalties, even though they fell on me (I was holding some) by 85%.
$WPM went from $20 to $2.50 in one year. As I say, we're in a crazy bull market, but when it ends, it'll ruin millions.

@Beta_Beaker What controlled temperature cycles during the Pleistocene was coupling between social forcing (Milankovitch cycles), CO2 levels and glacial extent (albedo).
I support nuclear energy as well but also know enough palaeoclimatology to detect a spotty argument.

Zoom out. The world has been much warmer on several occasions...and then it has cooled.
It's more to do with the geothermal heat released from the earth's crust.
