John Duncan in picture was a fine striker who went to Spurs. The funeral of Gordon Wallace who scored the only goal that day is next week. Along with Iain Phillip the pair formed a trio of Dundonians in that fine Dee side.

Great memories playing for a wonderful club @PartickThistle where we regularly finished in the 6 in the Premier league. It helped to have top players in the team who generated several million £ in transfer fees for the Jags.

I still think Ricky was the wrong appointment , and the cheap option. JC had a 60% win rate , mainly based on the Fergie legacy and Ricky would benefit from some of the great players from the Fergie/Clunie era. To my mind , a stronger appointment than Ricky could have achieved much more than he did.

Lino had his flag up for ages , then lowered it for some reason. Toshie on the track in the background , I had seen him animated a million times , but never before on the track. Time is a healer , but losing the late goal on the Saturday , followed by McDougall's leg-break and the two tight calls later made this a real bitter pill to swallow !

St Mirren players harangue the linesman after John Doyle's winning goal in the 1980 SC replay at Love Street. Celtic won 3-2 AET and played 100 minutes with 10 men. Billy McNeill never used a sub that night which is incredible and shows the fitness Celtic had then.

Massive game at the bottom end. It might not be about him in his eyes , but I would imagine that some Saints' players will have an axe to grind , like Campbell, Donnelly and Devaney , who have come in and done well after getting so few minutes under Robinson. A six pointer , if Aberdeen win they can start booking their holidays , if the Buds win it's going to the wire.
