I think so highly of the Wild and the way they are built. But it never was a question in my mind who would win this series. The Avalanche are the class of the NHL.

McCarron dragged Manson to the ice. He remained on top of them, and Manson pushed him off, hitting him with the end of his stick in the process.
After a long review, the refs handed Manson a double minor for butt ending.

@Sabreshockey23 @PierreVLeBrun Hartman is a 3c or 4c on most teams, Zucc is magic with Kaprizov but he’s a 3rd liner on any other team. Jojo too. Wild are dealing with the tail end of the ‘good enough’ guys contracts that clawed them thru cap hell but finally have a champion caliber core to get excited about

Bednar says they got the double minor right. He didn’t know what their options were, but he says Manson got him with his stick and he was just hoping it wasn’t vicious enough for a major plus game.
Of course, by that description, the call was wrong. Since Manson and Bednar admits the stick got McCarron, should have been a major + game

Colorado had a week off between Kings and Wild, 3 days off had nothing to do with the loss, Minnesota simply had the home ice bump and played like a desperate team, couple odd power play goals, other things and here we are.
My level of concern is zero. Nothing.
