Harry Kane is 32. Ask any Tottenham supporter they’ll tell you he’s been playing at this level for years. I find it quite incredible how many professionals within the sport seem to only be realising how good he is now that he’s playing for the strongest side in a weaker league.

@elpivoteftbl Roger’s is great at it. Has had the best partnership with Kane out of all of them.

England have too many players who want ball to feet. Even when Kane plays really lack someone to run in behind and stretch teams. Bellingham when he plays can do it but Rogers, Foden, Kane and Palmer all want it to feet.

@oxfjack Was in an experimental team playing from the right so your point is baseless. He’s been excellent through the middle in qulaifiers starting 5 from 8 and struck up a decent partnership with kane getting the best out of him.

If England are without Kane at any point at the World Cup (God forbid) … why not try out now a real No 9 like Solanke, rather than a false one like Foden (who’s better elsewhere)? Or look at Rashford or Gordon, who can both play through the middle. #ENG

Nothing specific on Djed Spence, but in general terms you will never convince me that a full-back should play with the opposing dominant foot to side their on. A left-back should be left footed, a right-back should be right footed.
