@GoatedAdel Thanks. As an American, I don't feel this stuff in my bones the way you guys do--fifteen years of fandom, still learning. Plus, we don't hear the same chatter with respect to who is attracting offers, & who isn't. Re: RND not playing in 3 game weeks--are that many backs able to?

My take on Walsh is this- I don’t think he’ll ever make the step up to the premier league. I do think, however, he could be a pretty good top end championship keeper with time. But it’ll cost us in the short term. If we’re not going all out for promotion next season, I’d be happy to keep him.. RND is definitely not rated by Sheff U. I’ve liked him a lot at times- but if we do pick him up permanently I’d like another LB with him because I think he has some flaws- going forward, and his ability to play in 3 game game weeks. We’ve had decent sized bids for Varane and he’s an obvious sale in the moneyball system. I like him but if there’s a good offer I think we part ways and reinvest in his position

Really weird summer ahead. Only concrete position we 100% have to buy is a LB (my ideal is buy RND on the cheap AND a starting LB, loan out Esq). A right back too, probably. Maybe a keeper. I’m pretty content with our attack- maybe buy a project attacker who gets scarce minutes and loan out Bennie. Buy a replacement for Varane if he leaves. Simple stuff

Also--the harshness of the flash (it's a small source, not a softbox), the exposure (FG is overexposed, causing subtle features to be blown out), saturation is very high (giving an artificial vibe) and the contrast between FG and BG. Also: low angles.

@jackcalifano Can someone skilled in photography explain the choices and techniques being made here? I see the flash coming from under the lens, which makes everything feel kind of unsettling. What else is going on here artistically that’s contributing to the creeped out feel I’m getting?

@peterhassett I guess I don't see a scenario where Kampf comes in, plays well, and they say--let's re-sign him and let him be the Dowd replacement, when they have quite a few forwards getting close to NHL ready (even if those forwards aren't 4c types)
