Here mostly for investing ideas, rarely have my own, crib from others. A sucker for biotech. Sometimes I hate on Trump so stay away if that offends.

@monsieurcount @nexta_tv $NKTR rezpeg treats conditions related to the immune system. Alopicia A is one of those. Male pattern baldness is not.

@nexta_tv is this why $nktr isn't yet ~$130?

😎 Baldness may no longer be a life sentence: Chinese scientists report a breakthrough They have developed a plant-based serum that “awakens” dormant hair follicles. In a study involving 60 participants over 56 days: — hair density increased by 25% — bald patches were reduced — visible hair loss decreased The treatment is said to both thicken existing hair and stimulate new growth. The results are described as promising, though no timeline for market release has been announced yet. The flow of “hair transplant tourists” to Turkey might soon slow down 🤣

@SatoshiFlipper Wrong. He's destroyed shareholder value. Compare the price of $ETH at $2400 to $BMNR share price. March 17th, ETH was around $2390, BMNR was at $23.85. Today, ETH is at $2390, BMNR is at $22.70. Shareholder value continues to erode.

@bin2gray Agree, that’s how we think - but we’ve seen in the past that the market doesn’t really understand $NKTR We’ll see

$NKTR it pisses me off that the market reaction to the upcoming data seems a little difficult to estimate. AFAIK, there will be no efficacy comparison to placebo patients, similar to their AtD maintenance data (correct me if I’m wrong) So they will just report the plain numbers, which I think will definitely be low dose Olumiant like IF you ignore the placebo bs from the 36 weeks data 10 patients achieved SALT20 in 36 weeks + we alr know 3 more did in the 16w extension -> 13 / 67 x 100 =19.4% and 7 ongoing patients alr hit SALT30 in 36 weeks, so only one more patient and we’re at 20.9% - 5% Olumiant placebo = 15.9% — in line with Jefferies “15-20% pbo adj. SALT20” scenario Obviously, statistically it doesn’t make sense to take the 36w placebo rate (11%) for NKTR’s 52w data but I still kinda worry the market could be retarded and just still use it or at least cry about no placebo data being reported (even though Lilly did the same with Olumiant). Some people actually cried about this when they released AtD maintenance. I guess that’s just my lack of experience yet. Long as fuck commons but I’d probably be much more aggressive on options without this worry. Might still buy some idk - the r/r seems great.

@5280Theta @BMNRBullz @fundstrat @grok it's not "dilution" in the economic or value-destroying sense when $BMNR sells its own shares at or above NAV and immediately deploys the proceeds to buy ETH that's added straight to the treasury. But you probably already understand that.

I own $BMNR (instead of owning ETH directly or through ETFs etc.) because I think @fundstrat 's active management will add value (i.e, there is an imbedded call on Tom's ability to raise and deploy capital accretively). Staking yield is not a reason to own this. The price of ETH already (in an efficient market sense) reflects its yield potential. With $BMNR trading at (or very near) NAV and without debt I see no financial leverage here either. IOW, it's a (slightly?) better way of owning ETH so mostly you just need to believe in the ETH story (tradFi migration to smart contracts / tokenization of finance) best evangelized by Tom.
Badie@Badie912

$bmnr annualized staking rewards will be over $300 million annually when all of the $eth they currently have is staked. That is profitability. Imagine how high this number balloons to when $eth price improves. It will be one of the most successful companies in the world. Management executes each and every week!

I have not said thank you in a while but after our conversation last night I thought I would try today and see what grok does. I had a lengthy conversation about refractive eye surgery options for someone with my prescription and demographics and asked several follow up questions. At the end I gave it a simple 'thanks'. It then proceeded as follows: "You're welcome, Brent! Glad the info has been helpful as you explore options after all these years of waiting for the tech to mature. Since you're already a patient at [then 500+ words summarizing our conversation and its suggestions]" it finished with "You've done your homework and waited patiently — now the tech is ready, and there are solid surgeons right in your backyard. Hope you get some clarity (pun intended) soon. Let me know how it goes! 😊" No wonder this is costing the AI firms so much. LOL.

@given2tweet Yes i also feel like an idiot but am also annoyed that the AI won’t just give you a simple “you’re welcome” back and instead returns a sentence or two and sometimes a question. Thank you means I’m done and an AI should be smart enough to know that.

@given2tweet I heard that AI handling of thank yous adds up to a significant cost to the system ($Bs) so I quit. My wife still insists on doing it so they will go easy on her once they take over. Sex would def require a thank you.
