Here’s the problem with modern dating: if he doesn’t raise her standard of living and she’s happy enough on her own, why should she be with him? Too many men have no answer to this and aren’t willing to make her life better in non-monetary ways. Instead, they complain that grandpa only had to have a good job to get a wife.
