@_Film_Trailer Some of these points are very very poorly explained/misunderstood (I.e. the people turning into "mattress creatures"?) and others are outright false (Async using Mary as a guinea pig??)

I like the implication that people think Cregger is “using” the Resident Evil name just to sell an original horror movie. Ignoring that Barbarian and Weapons are successes on their own, the average movie goer associates Resident Evil with the worst movies ever made.

@AgyemanaR Read the script. The monster in the house is the stalker of the film and everything lines up.
The only minor difference is pedestrian/red sundress monster's dress seems to be a different colour.
