It’s easy to approach with an uninformed assumption that the annihilation of humanity would result in the restoration of ecological balance, but that’s actually untrue. The interdependence and entanglement of humanity and nature is irrefutable, we simply lost our way. 5/

Maybe it’s just me, but I find it highly hypocritical how some people will tolerate the presence of invasive species that can cause ecological damage, yet are clear about their disdain for human migrants that seek asylum here in the US from any crisis they endure. 1/
