Breaking: The m—rdered trans University of Washington student, who was allegedly killed by a black male suspect, has been identified as a white male named Michael "Juniper" Blessing (b. Sept. 22, 2006).
The media and police have been referring to him as a female and a woman.
Blessing is from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was found in an off-campus laundry room with over 40 stab wounds.

My most pedantic opinion is that Afghanistan should be considered as Central Asian rather than South Asian. They're part of the historical Persian cultural sphere than encompasses Iran and the post-Soviet Central Asian states. South Asia should just mean the Indian subcontinent.
