@USS_Kearsarge_ The film was shot with imax 70mm specifically for that type of imax screen. All other versions need to be cropped unfortunately

I'm not that huge cinema goer, but why can't they just make the scale smaller so everything is visible just like on the imax version?

The Odyssey in IMAX vs. regular screens. So much of the film is lost on a regular screen. Nolan did a disservice to the majority of viewers who don't have access to IMAX.
