Alpine is owned by a lot of people and sponsored by a performance focused small volume maker, so again, yeah. Both are Merc PU customers. AMR same.

🚨2.4L turbo V8 on sustainable fuel is currently the favourite for F1’s next engine regulations. Manufacturers are even considering ditching hybrids completely and going back to pure internal combustion. This idea splits opinions in the paddock, with broad support for naturally aspirated versions but some favouring turbos, as F1 aims to lure more carmakers post-2030. Don’t get too excited if you’re expecting the old NA scream. These turbo V8s would rev to around 16,000 rpm, with a modern whoosh rather than the old 19,000 rpm scream. This isn’t bringing back the old V8 era, no matter how it’s framed. What do you think?

@AussieFuckery @DRSunlocked 90% plus of all the teams that ever raced in F1 when F1 was not so popular as today and most couldn’t even break even. Now it’s lucrative to be an indie like Haas, Williams, Mclaren, Aston, Alpine, RBR and RB. Title sponsor names notwithstanding, they don’t make their engines.

@Kweku2007 @Welsh_Lady2 I was there kid, the cars were pretty close considering regulations changed. And it only got closer from there on PUs had converged and kept on it as It wasn’t a PU rule change, this one is, and that’s the only problem. Aero and chassis are 👌.

@jane_kihika Love the sport, understand it is a engineering and driving competition, remember that when judging individual driver performances, the winner is not always the one who drove the best race. You can have your fav driver but don’t get too into it, they come and go, F1 is the star.

The biggest achievement of Hamilton was certainly making people think Rosberg was a poor driver. A driver who, during the three years alongside Schumacher, beat him so badly that he scored roughly double his points in the standings. Put some respect on Nico
