according to federico albano (@Fred__18), charles put together his own team (not ferrari related) to study the data and the new power unit. "i think leclerc's approach, personally... as far as i know, he organized a team to study the data separately, to comb through every detail - a team at his home, not necessarily ferrari's - comb through every detail from these power units, i find his approach... charles is still young, he'd have some justification for being tired of never having the winning car because i think we can all agree he has the talent to be champion - him having such an in-depth reading instead is something i think is extremely serious and professional."

@ThisIsFormu1a1 Such a misleading first line! All he said during his interview was “we need to understand where I was losing power…” He never called Ferrari to provide him with answers! You want clicks but don’t mislead!!!

🚨| Lewis Hamilton calls for Ferrari answers after 'terrible' Japan issue: — Lewis Hamilton described his performance at the Japanese Grand Prix as "pretty terrible" after finishing sixth, unable to replicate his podium finish from China. Starting from sixth, Hamilton initially moved up to third following a safety car intervention but was overtaken by George Russell and Lando Norris, ending the race in the same position he started. — Hamilton expressed frustration over his car's performance, noting a significant lack of power throughout the race. Speaking to Sky F1, Hamilton remarked: “Pretty terrible. Ultimately, I was P3 and ended up going backwards.” “We need to understand where I was losing all the power. I just had a real lack of power throughout, particularly the second stint.” — Despite following team instructions on energy management, Hamilton felt disadvantaged, explaining: “I'm full gas, and I'm managing where I've been asked to manage, yet for some reason [I was] just lacking power.” “So we need to figure out if there's something wrong with the car or not. But still, we got some points.” — Hamilton currently holds fourth place in the drivers' championship with 41 points, trailing leader Kimi Antonelli by 31 points after the first three rounds. #lewishamilton 🇬🇧 #scuderiaferrari 🇮🇹 VIA: [RacingNews365]

Hamilton was right: he had NO POWER to defend from LEC and RUS! 🪫 LEC reached 317 km/h without slipstream or overtake mode, HAM just 307 (Lap 42) And that's nothing: LEC reached 330 when in HAM's slipstream, but the latter didn't exceed 306 when the roles inverted! (Lap 43, and RUS overtook him) Behind HAM, LEC gained 0.391s on the main straight. Behind LEC, HAM LOST 0.250s (while RUS gained 0.529s) So: -For some reason (bug?) HAM didn't have the ERS power needed to defend ❌ -RUS could overtake HAM more easily than LEC did... even though he was 0.144s further behind on the straight! 🚀 @LewisHamilton @ScuderiaFerrari @Charles_Leclerc #F1

The FIA literally changed the 2022 regs to suit Mercedes because they were complaining so much so they introduced a TD in spa wi h backfired massively and they got even slower and RB & Ferrari got faster. Max isn’t complaining about being p8 or having a shit car, he’s complaining about the fucking regulations you thick cunts.

After seeing how terribly Hamilton, Bottas, Russell fail against their teammates, We need to talk about how dominant post-2014 Mercedes were and how much they were squandered by mediocre driver line-ups.

@GazzettaFerrari Again, a silly post! He could simply mean an upgraded software that could optimise and maximise the output of the PU, something Fred has also alluded to! Absolutely no need to try and create friction or pit the best driver pair on the grid against each other!!!

Man, am I the only one finding this constant Leclerc vs Lewis thingy silly, idiotic and quite frankly embarrassing and stupid?! Ferrari fans should concern themselves with how the team’s development direction will go. In just 3 races, it’s gone backwards! #forzaferrari #f1

@UnbiasedFIA No, you don’t have to! We are all entitled to our opinions and selectively choose what we believe or not! There’s always 2 sides to a story but that should be distinguished from objectively verifiable facts, which none of us outside the teams know!

Am I supposed to believe Hamilton had deployment issues, just like the last 12 times he complained about something in the car and not a single one of them were true?

@RayyLH44 Exactly! And some of the fans are just obsessed with Leclerc vs SLH44, instead of worrying about the fact that after just 3 races, Ferrari has gone backwards to 3rd fastest car! All Ferrari fans should want wins and not just crumbs of and squabbles over 3 place podiums!!!

According to The Race, Max Verstappen is under contract with Red Bull until the end of 2028 — but he has exit clauses that allow him to leave depending on the team’s competitiveness. Last year, Verstappen could have exited if he was outside the top three in the drivers’ championship by the summer break. For 2026, however, the clause is understood to be stricter. If Verstappen is not inside the top two by a specified point in the season, he is free to leave. This condition is likely tied to the 2026 regulations, giving him the option to pursue a more competitive seat for 2027. Additionally, Verstappen is not required to inform Red Bull of his decision until October, giving him ample time to assess both the team’s progress and the impact of Formula 1’s new regulations. The sport's tribalism is honestly just sickening at this point with discourse as good as dead, We've got teams here for each driver and their fans leave left their brains in the freezer before logging on to social media and sharing their views It's armies of brainless monolithic cults of each driver just mindlessly abusing the other with no regard to facts because critical thinking is a thing of the past! 🤦🏽‍♂️

@AlexLacl Leclerc won what?! We should worry about Ferrari going backwards, in just 3 races, it’s now 3rd fastest instead of these squabbles over H2H or 3rd place podiums! They need a competitive PU / car to fight for wins and championships!

Hamilton was just as good as leclerc in the race before going trough deployment issues and all. Suzuka was one of his worst track he was being competitive all weekend. Deployment was key this weekend Leclerc won it fair and square but better tracks are coming for LH.
